BioThe High Tech Redneck. I'm a Mac geek and past graphic designer who lives in the country with a life full of old Chevys and some goats. Where's the political party for the well armed liberal? And yes, after the last 8 years of BushCo, I call myself a liberal, as they have co-opted the word conservative and made it something not very respectable.
One thing I don't get is why liberals are against gun control in the first place. I thought liberalism was all about empowering the individual and respecting their rights. The First Amendment rests on the second and they both address the rights of 'the people'. Oh yeah, don't worry so much about how others live their lives. As long as they're not hurting children or rutting in the streets, it's all cool.

kamala_1. I get to tell everyone I married the smart one!
I've attended 6 different colleges, for a variety of liberal art majors (does not require math), had three different Air Force MOSes (Russian Linguist (washed out), KC-135a Crew Chief, Air Med Evac Medic), and worked as cook, dj, cartographer, retail grunt and computer repair tech. I'm currently working high level hell desk but it's pretty laid back. Being a Mac guy is sorta' like being the Maytag repair dude; lots of sit back and wait time.
I have no real goals in life, other than raising my daughter to have a sense of wonder and a questing mind.
